It's not what all the money, manifestation and instant gratification gurus teach us.

When we arrive in this world, we are received into the warm embrace of our mother.
​
We mould to her body and rest.
​
We receive our place, comfort and security. There is nourishment from her breast when we are hungry and need to be filled and satisfied.
​
We learn to receive and how much we can take or ask for.
​
Or we learn something else at the level of the felt sense in our body. It is deeply imprinted.
​
So we start with looking at how easy or hard it is for you to receive love from your mother the way she gives it, whether she is still alive, or deceased.
We have a second parent, a bridge parent, our father or another parent.
​
From the secure attachment with mother, our bridge parent helps us to step out into the world with courage, curiosity and confidence.
​
“Go for it!” They say. “I have your back. I believe in you!”
​
Or we have a different experience of being turned toward our future, the outer world and our success.
​
Who has your back? What did this parent struggle with that kept them from being your role model and strength?
Our families--both our maternal and paternal line, had wealth or did not.
Were they rich, poor, middle class?

Who lost the family wealth? Who stole from others? Who had it stolen?
​
Who exploited or oppressed others to gain wealth?
